You can copy your existing ticket events to make it easier to set up your new events on TicketSignup!

To copy a ticket event, go to My Ticket Events from your profile icon in the upper right corner of any page on TicketSignup:

Find the ticket event you want to copy and click on the dropdown arrow on the right-hand side of the event in the list:

Then, click Copy this Ticket Event:

You will be directed to a two step Ticket Wizard where you can adjust the basic information about your event and the ticket options:

Step 1: Basic Info

The first section of the Ticket Wizard will have your information from the original event, including the name, dates, description, URL, location information, contact information, and event history. You are able to edit all of this information.

If you are copying a past ticket event for a future event that you are holding, be sure to adjust the dates and information pertaining the the pervious year's event:

The only information that you are required to change on this page is the Event URL Identifier since you cannot have the same URL for two different events. For example, if you are creating next month's or next year's event, you can add the month or year to the URL:

Note: If you need help with your domain, please contact info@ticketsignup.io

Customize Copy Settings

After adjusting the basic event information, you can select which settings you would like to copy over from the existing event.

Check the Show you existing event settings box to expand the list of event settings organized by the dashboard tabs:

Check/Uncheck the corresponding boxes for the settings that you would like to copy over/to not copy over to the new event. At the top of this list, you will see a Secure Access Settings option. When checked, this setting will give the people who have access to your existing event the same access for your new event.

Note: We do not copy the following data:

  • Ticket purchase data
  • Email lists and sent emails
  • Ticket bundles
  • Raffles
  • Photos
  • Coupons (you can use the same coupons by adding a shared coupon pool)

Event Contract

Next, you will be prompted to read and agree to TicketSignup's event contract and code of conduct:

Website Visibility

Lastly, you will be able to select if you would like to publish your ticket event as private or public or, if you are not ready to publish the event, to leave it in draft mode:

If you decide to leave your event in draft mode, you can publish the event later under Event >> Publish Settings in your Event Dashboard.

Once you are finished with Step 1 of the wizard, click Save & Continue at the bottom of the page.

Step 2: Tickets Info

The second step of the Ticket Wizard allows you to adjust the names of the tickets, purchase periods, and pricing. If you have advanced tickets enabled for the existing event, this step will allow you to adjust these settings at the Ticket Group level, including enabling and setting dates for the Ticket Group:

Note: You are not able to delete any tickets in this step, but you will be able to in the Event Dashboard after you complete the Ticket Wizard.

Once you have finished editing your ticket information, click Finish at the bottom of the page to be directed to your Event Dashboard. You will have access to make any edits to your dashboard settings as normal, including the tabs that you have chosen to copy over.

Note: Your website, notifications (Event >> Notifications), and social sharing (Promotions >> Social Sharing) content will copy over from the original event.

It is always best to perform a test purchase to be sure of how this content will appear.
